Happy Friday, y’all! And Happy Veterans Day to all who've served in our military! I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had an exhausting week. Monday is usually the most dreadful day of the week for many of us, but this wasn’t a usual week. Tuesday’s election coverage frenzy pretty much left me waking up Wednesday morning feeling like I had the biggest election hangover that not even menudo and Big Red would be able to cure ― if such a heresy even exists. But peruse through social media and the sense of division and uncertainty people are feeling is palpable. And then trying to divert from it all? Nombre, you may as well delete all your social media apps.

But please don’t delete all your social media apps! Despite however you’re feeling about this election, there’s always something positive to focus on. Case in point, we’ve highlighted some notable people who are doing positive things in our communities. You could call them bloggers, but, really, they’re much more than that. These are hard-working, kindhearted people who are doing work they are passionate about. From cultura to comida and everything in between, you’d be hard-pressed to go about your weekend without finding something to smile about.

We leave you with this list, which is by no means exhaustive, of some great bloggers we recommend you follow.

Cheers to a good weekend!
